Zao

Zao are one of the founding group of metalcore genre. The group comes from Greensburg, Pennsylvania, US and was formed in 1993. The current members are Daniel Weyandt, Scott Mellinger, Martin Lunn, Jeff Gretz. The band is devoted to Christianity and has God-related lyrics. Zao have produced 10 studio albums in total, including The Fear is what Keeps Us Here which you can download from our site in mp3. Zao toured with such well known bands as In Flames, Trivium, Maylene and the Sons of Disaster. The group made two videos for their songs My Love, My love and The Rising End. The band has released two vinyl records, they are The Ties That Blind and Treadwater. During their tours the group was supported by such acts as Underoath, Unearth, Dead Poetic and Underwater. The band has issued a cover for Black Flag’s song Black Coffee.
