Yannick Noah

Yannick Noah is a French pop and soul singer and songwriter. He was born on May 18, 1960, in Sedan, Ardennes. In the early 1980s, he became France's most popular tennis player when he won the French Open. After retiring from tennis, he started a career as a singer. He began to perform throughout Europe. He emerged on the French music scene in the early 1990s with his breakthrough debut album entitle Black or What. This record produced his first hit single called "Saga Africa". Nine years later, he released his following album, Noah, which included Jean-Jacques Goldman as a guest appearance. This record produced several hit singles such as "Mading", "Simon Pap", "Ecoute", "Sans Moi", "Jamafrica", "Les Lionn" and "Simon Pap".
