Xploding Plastix

Norwegian acid jazz, electrofunk and big beat band Xploding Plastix from Oslo, was formed in 2000. The band comprises Jens Petter Nilsen and Hallvard Wennersberg Hagen. They gained popularity with their breakthrough debut hit single, "Treat Me Mean, I need the Reputation", which was released through Beatservice Records. This song received very good reviews from critics. In 2001, they released their debut album, Amateur Girlfriends Go Proskirt Agents, which produced several singles such as "Funnybones & Lazylegs", "6 Hours Starlight", "Behind the Eightball", "Single Stroke Ruffs" and "Treat Me Mean, I Need the Reputation". Now, you may download this album by Xploding Plastix in mp3 from our site. The album's song, "6 Hours Starlight", was used as soundtrack for the Hitchcock film North by Northwest. They continued the success with their following albums, The Benevolent Volume Lurkings (2003), The Donca Matic Singalongs (2003) and Treated Timber Resists Rot (2008).
