Wrens

The Wrens are an indie rock band formed in New Jersey, the United States in the late 1980s. The band composes of Charles Bissell, Greg Whelan, Kevin Whelan, Jerry MacDonald. This line-up hasn’t changed since the band formation. At first, the band was known as Low but when they learnt about other band with the same name, the name was changed for the Wrens. The debut album Silver came out in 1994. The follow-up Secaucus was released in 1996. Both albums were critically acclaimed and earned the band a solid following. Meanwhile, the band faced problems with their record company and these problems didn’t allow them to release their next record. Finally, the third long play the Meadowlands came out in 2003.
