We Are The Fallen

We Are the Fallen are an American gothic metal band formed in 2009 by former Evanescence members Ben Moody (lead guitar), John LeCompt (rhythm guitar), and Rocky Gray (drums) and by American Idol contestant Carly Smithson (vocals) and Marty O’Brien (bass). Moody left Evanescence because of different music views on the band’s future sound. Later, when Gray and LeCompt left the band either, he reached them offering to gather again and to play what they were playing back in 2003. They recruited O’Brien in the process and hold auditions for the lead vocalist. Eventually Moody found Carly Smithson that was in a process of making a solo album. They music interests were alike and thus We Are the Fallen were created. The debut album Tear the World Down was released in 2010 through Universal Republic.
