Warlock

Warlock is a German heavy metal band formed in Düsseldorf in 1982. In 1988 it was renamed in Doro by the lead singer Doro Pesch who remained the only member since the formation of the group. Doro has several Warlock songs in its repertoire. The first Warlock’s line-up consisted of Doro Pesch , Peter Szigeti, Rudy Graf, Frank Rittel and Michael Eurich. The first band’s albums Burning the Witches and Hellbound brought the popularity only in Europe. The third album True as Steel became a breakthrough to the American market with help of the hit single Fight for Rock which you can download from our site in mp3. Warlock opened the Monsters of Rock festival in Germany in 1986, headlined by Scorpions all that day. In 2004 Doro reunited some original Warlock members for festival appearance which led to the legal dispute over the band’s name.
