Waltham

Waltham is an American rock band named after the town it comes from. Waltham was formed in 1999 in Waltham, Massachusetts, the US. The band consists of Peet Golan, Tony Monaco, Frank Pino, Jr., Mikey Rorick and of Alex Fiorentino. Their music style can be characterized by 80-ty style melodic rock and by hard guitar riffs, so they can be compared to Van Halen when it comes to the sound but the lyrics of the band deals with teenage angst and young love. The group released their debut self-titled album Waltham in 2005 and you can download it in mp3 from our site. Their song “Cheryl” (Come and Take a Ride) was used in promotion of TV serried Amazing Race. The band has some awards like Boston Music Awards as Best Rock/pop band (2005), Song of the Year (So Lonely) (2003) and Best New Band (1999).
