Waking Ashland

Waking Ashland was a piano rock band formed in San Diego, California, the United States in 2003 and disbanded in 2007. The last band’s line-up composed of Jonathan Jones on vocals and keyboards, Ryan Lallier on guitar, Nate Harold on bass and Tim Very on drums. The band was inspired by such groups like Coldplay, Joe Jackson, The Pixies and Hüsker Dü. At the same time, they managed to elaborate a unique sound in their genre. The band released their debut extended play I’m For You in 2004. It was a success even without record label support. All the records were released within a month. The early success inspired the band to enter the music industry and hire an agent. They dropped the college and began profession music career. They began touring and participated at Warped Tour 2004.
