Van Zant

Van Zant is an American music duo formed in Jacksonville, Florida, the United States in 1985. The duo composes of two brothers – Donnie Van Zant and Johnny Van Zant. They are brothers of Ronnie Van Zant, former lead vocalist of the rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd. The duo has performed in such genres like southern rock and country. As a southern rock band, they were recording in 1980s and released their self-titled album under Geffen Records in 1985. The album reached number 170 on the Billboard 200. The band disbanded quite soon but they reformed in 1998 in order to release their next album Brother to Brother. 2005 saw the duo changing their style and releasing country album Get Right with the Man.
