Valerio Scanu

Valerio Scanu is an Italian pop singer born on April 10, 1990 in La Maddalena, Sardinia, Italy. He has been interested in singing since his childhood and appeared for the first time on the stage at the age of seven when he appeared on the television show Canzone sotto l'albero where he came third. He continued participating in different contests including Bravo Bravissimo in 2002 (first place), Amici di Maria De Filippi (second place) in 2008. His first studio album Sentimento was released in 2009. The album was certified Gold after the first week and eventually it went on Platinum. The album was supported by a title song Sentimento, Dopo di Me and Listen, cover on Beyonce’s song. In 2010, Scanu won the famous Sanremo Music Festival performing a song Per Tutte le Volte.
