Tyrant

Australian hard rock and heavy metal band Tyrant from Tasmania, was formed in 1980 and the band's current line-up comprises Neil 'Steel' Wilson (vocals), Brett Collidge (guitars), Simon Wilson (guitars), Jason Paul Smith (bass) and Nathan Sproule (drums). Initially the group performed under the name Slyder and included two members: Andrew and Robert Zarins. They emerged on the American metal scene in the mid-1980 with their breakthrough EP, Never Too Loud, which reached Top Ten on the metal charts. They achieved mainstream success with their debut album, Mean Machine, which yielded several singles such as "Free For All", "We Stay Free", "Wanna Make Love" and "Ready For Love".
