Twista, known as Tung Twista as well (birth name Carl Terrell Mitchell) was born on November 27, 1973 in Chicago, Illinois, the USA. He’s an American rapper and known for entering the Guinness World Records in 1992 as the fastest emcee, he could pronounce 11,2 syllables per second. He began his music career in 1990. The debut album Runnin' Off at da Mouth was released in 1991. But he rose to fame in 2004 with his album Kamikaze which debuted at #1 on Billboard 200 Album Chart. The record spawned such hit singles as Slow Jamz (feat. Jamie Foxx and West), Overnight Celebrity and So Sexy (feat. R. Kelly). The album itself was recorded with Jay-Z and Ludacris.
