Tsar

American rock and roll and power pop band Tsar from Los Angeles, California, was formed in 1998. The band comprises Jeff Whalen (guitar and vocals), Daniel Kern (guitar and vocals), Derrick Forget (bass guitar) and Chuck Byler (drums). In the early 1990s, they signed a contract with Hollywood Records and began recording their self-titled debut album. It was released in 2000 and produced several singles such as "Ordinary Gurl", "Disappear", "The Girl Who Wouldn't Die" and " I Don't Wanna Break-Up". It also received very good reviews from critics. In 2005, they released their second album, Band-Girls-Money, which contained the singles, "Band-Girls-Money", "Wanna Get Dead" and "The Love Explosion". To support this album the band went on tour along with other pop rock bands throughout the US.
