Train

Train is an American rock band coming from San Francisco, California, the United States. The band was founded in 1994 by Pat Monahan and Rob Hotchkiss who performed together in coffee houses and local clubs. After some time performing as a duo, they decided to form a full time band. They recruited other musicians to complete the line-up and released their debut full-length album independently in 1998. The current band’s line-up composes of Patrick Monahan (lead vocalist), Jimmy Stafford (lead guitarist) and Scott Underwood (drummer). The band rose to the mainstream success with their second album Drops of Jupiter that was released in 2001. The album was supported by a hit single "Drops of Jupiter (Tell Me)".
