Tokio is a Japanese hard rock and power pop band formed in 1989. The band was founded by Johny & Associates and debuted in 1994. The band’s line-up composes of five men - Shigeru Joshima (guitarist and leader of Tokio), Tomoya Nagase (lead vocalist and guitarist), Masahiro Matsuoka (drummer), Taichi Kokubun (keyboards) and of Tatsuya Yamaguchi (bassist). During their career the band has released 11 studio albums. The last two albums became the longest one (Harvest) and the shortest one, titled Sugar.
