Toby McKeehan a.k.a. TobyMac, birth name Kevin Michael McKeehan is an American Christian hip-hop, rock and rapcore singer-songwriter, music producer and author born on October 22, 1964 in Fairfax, Virginia. He is one of the first Christian rappers. He began his music career as member of a Christian group DC Talk. When the group was put on hold, he embarked on a successful solo career. The debut album Momentum was released in 2001. The album was supported by such hit singles "Extreme Days", "Yours", "What's Going Down" and "Get This Party Started". The album was certified Gold in the United States. During his career, he has released four studio albums. He has two albums number one – Portable Sounds (2007) and Tonight (2010).
