Tiles

Tiles is a progressive rock band from Detroit, Michigan, US. It was formed in 1993 by Mark Evans, Chris Herin, Paul Rarick, Jeff Whittle. Tiles reached the international popularity quite quickly, right after the release of their debut self-titled album Tiles (1994). This happened thanks to positive reviews in Europe from rock magazines. The band became known even in Japan having entered the Burn! Chart at #47. Next their release continued their success and the band was called "Detroit's leading progressive rock band." The third band’s album Presents of Mind has become their best selling release to date. The band was so good that they were invited to be an opening act for Dream Theatre. The last group’s album Fly Paper was also critically acclaimed and was praised by Ian Anderson of Jethro Tull.
