American new age and electronic ambient musician and composer Thom Brennan was born on May 31, 1957 in Lubbock, Texas. Today he is often considered as one of the most influential artists of the electronic music genre. He quickly gained popularity in the late 1980s with his breakthrough debut album, Mountains, which produced his first hit singles such as "Green River Passage", "Incense and Rain" and "The burning temple".
