Tevin Campbell

Tevin Jermond Campbell is an American R&B singer-songwriter, born on November 12, 1976 in Dallas, Texas, the United States. He began his career at the end of the 1980s. At that time he was noticed by famous producer, Quincy Jones (had worked with Michael Jackson). Jones introduced Campbell in 1989. The debut single “Tomorrow (A better You Better Me)” became a hit number one reaching the top of the American R&B chart. This track featured the highly acclaimed Quincy Jones’ LP Back on the Block. It won Grammy Awards for Album of the Year (1991). The debut solo hit single “Round and Round” was produced by Prince and reached number 2 on the R&B chart. This song was included in the debut album T.E.V.I.N. released in 1991. The album was certified Platinum and spawned a hit single number one "Tell Me What You Want Me to Do".
