Tanzwut

Tanzwut is a German band from Berlin formed in 1998. The band’s current members are Teufel (bagpipe, lead vocals), Wim (bass guitar, bagpipe), Castus (bagpipe, shawn), Ardor (bagpipe, shawn), Norri (percussion, keyboard), Hatz (percussion, key drum, electronic drums, riesentara, keyboard) and Patrick (guitar, backing vocals, bagpipe, tromba marina). The band plays Neue Deutsche Härte and medieval metal. Their name means “dance mania” or “dance rage”. They achieved the international success and play gigs and sell-out shows far from the home Germany, for example in Mexico. Their stage performances have medieval atmosphere created by their costumes, choreography and by music of course. The band has released four albums so far. The last one is Schattenreiter (Shadow Rider) came out in 2006. You can download this album in mp3 from our site.
