Susan Tedeschi

Susan Tedeschi is an American blues and soul singer-songwriter born on November 9, 1970 in Boston, Massachusetts, the United States. She began her music career in 1994 founding the Susan Tedeschi Band, which included Tom Hambridge and Adrienne Hayes. The current band members are Susan Tedeschi (vocals), Ron Holloway (tenor saxophone), Matt Slocum (keyboards and Hammond B-3 Organ), Dave Yoke (guitar), Ted Pecchio (bass guitar), Tyler Greenwell (drums). Susan and her band opened for the Allman Brothers Band, B.B.King, Bob Dylan and for many others. Their album Just Won’t Burnt (2000) was certified Gold. The same year she earned Grammy nomination for “Best new Artist”. Later she received two more nominations for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance (2003) and for Best Contemporary Blues Album for Hope and Desire (2006).
