Storyteller

Swedish heavy metal band The Storyteller was founded in 1995 by L-G Persson (vocals), Fredrik Groth (guitar), Martin Hjerpe (drums), Jacob Wennerqvist (guitar) and Johan Sohlberg (bass). In the beginning, they performed at local clubs and bars. There they caught the attention of managers from a record company. After signing a contract, the band started recording their self-titled debut album, which was released in 2000. Two years later, they produced their following work, Crossroad, which received generally positive reviews from critics. After his release, the group went on tour throughout the Europe. In 2003, they released their most successful and best selling album, Tales of a Holy Quest, which yielded the singles such as "Voices From the Past", "Seeds of Lies", "Conviction", "A Holy Quest" and "Words Out of Greed".
