Steve Morse

Steve J. Morse is an American rock guitarist, born on July 28, 1954 in Hamilton, Ohio, the United States. He is also a songwriter and pilot. “Guitar Player” magazine named him “guitarist of the year” several times. He was born on the family of the priest and pianist and has been interested in the music since his childhood. When he was 9, he and his brother Dave formed the band The Plague. Later and he and his brother played in cover band “Dixie Grit”. When the band disbanded, he and his partner Andy West formed a professional band “Dixie dregs”. During his career, he played in Steve Morse Band (his solo project), in the band Kansas, and now he is guitarist in the band Deep Purple. He has released quite a number of albums with his Steve Morse Band and as a solo artist. The debut album The Introduction was released in 1984. You can download this album in mp3 from our site.
