Steve Forbert

American pop and folk music singer, songwriter and guitarist Steve Forbert was born on December 13, 1955, in Meridian, Mississippi. In the mid-1970 he signed to CBS Records and began recording his debut album. Alive on Arrival was released in 1978 and produced the singles such as "Goin' Down to Laurel", "Steve Forbert's Midsummer Night's Toast", "Thinkin'" and "What Kinda Guy?". A year later, he released his most commercially successful album, Jackrabbit Slim, which yielded several singles "I'm In Love With You", "Say Goodbye To Little", "Wait", "Make It All So Real" and hit biggest hit, "Romeo's Tune", which peaked at number eleven on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
