Star One

Star One is a Dutch space rock and progressive metal project of Arjen Anthony Lucassen. The project was started in 2002 on the remnants of Lucassen’s collaboration with Bruce Dickinson of Iron Maiden. The idea belonged to Dickinson. Lucassen was to write music and Dickinson was in charge of lyrics. Though the project was abandoned after Lucassen had mentioned about it in the Internet. He decided to continue what he had begun to do and wrote another lyrics for his music. The project got a name Star One. Thus, the band released two albums – Space Metal (2002) and live album Live on Earth (2003). From our site, you can download these albums by Star One in mp3 from. The projects features such musicians like Ed Warby (drums), Russell Allen (vocals), Damian Wilson (vocals), Dan Swanö (vocals), Floor Jansen (vocals). Lucassen played guitars, bass and keyboards.
