Stacie Joy Orrico, known as Stacie Orrico was born on March 3, 1986 in Seattle, Washington, the United States. She is an American pop and R&B singer, songwriter and occasional actress. During her career, she has released three studio albums, one compilation album and several singles. The debut album Genuine was released in 2000 but wasn’t noticed by the majority of the public. The album sales were very poor and it charted badly. The next effort made Orrico an international star. The self-titled album reached the top 10 on many charts in different countries. The album became number 3 in Japan and was certified 3 x platinum there. In addition it became gold in the U.S. and in the UK. Worldwide sales reached 3,5 million copies.
