American alternative rock, post-hardcore and indie rock band Sparta from El Paso, Texas, was formed in 2001. The band comprises Jim Ward (vocalist and guitarist) and Tony Hajjar (drummer) and Keeley Davis (guitarist) who is the former frontman of Engine Down. Jim Ward and Tony Hajjar became famous as members of At the Drive-In. And Keeley Davis is also known as the former frontman and guitarist of Engine Down. In 2001, they were signed to DreamWorks Records. They quickly gained popularity in 2002 with their breakthrough debut album, Wiretap Scars, which peaked at number 71 on the Billboard 200. This album spawned several singles such as "Cut Your Ribbon", "Air", "Mye", "Collapse" and "Sans Cosm". And now, you may download Sparta's debut album, Wiretap Scars, in mp3 from our site. This album was influenced by the music of an American alternative rock band At the Drive-In. To support their debut album, they went on tour throughout North America and Europe.
