Sons and Daughters

Sons and Daughters are a British rock band coming from Glasgow, Scotland. The band was founded in 2003 by Adele Bethel. The band’s current line-up composes of Adele Bethel – vocals, guitar, piano, David Gow – drums, percussion, Ailidh Lennon – bass, mandolin, piano and Scott Paterson – vocals, guitar. The band has released one extended play, two studio albums and several singles. The last album This Gift was released in 2008. The album’s style can be described as indie rock. It was released through Domino Records. The album was praised by the critics especially by Allmusic, Drowned in Sound, stv.tv, and by some others. The album was supported by two singles "Darling/This Gift" and "Gilt Complex". The band hasn’t achieved any success with their single "Darling/This Gift" peaking at number 86 on the UK Singles chart.
