Solace

Solace is a heavy-metal band coming from Jersey Shore, New Jersey, the United States. The band was founded in 1996. The current band’s line-up composes of Jason (vocals), Tommy Southard (guitar), Justin Daniels (guitar), Rob Hultz (bass guitar) and Keith Ackerman (drums). Solace is best-known for their genre of stoner rock. However, the band’s guitarist Tommy Southard denied this saying that Solace is a hard rock and metal band. Through its history, the band had a bad luck resulting in changing drummers and difficult relations with vocalist Jason. Despite all these problems, the band has released three long plays. Other band’s releases include two split albums, two extended plays. The band has also participated in many compilation albums and tributes (Aerosmith, Iron Maiden and others).
