Soilwork

Soilwork is a Swedish melodic death metal band formed in Helsingborg, Sweden in 1996. The band was founded earlier in 1995 under the name Inferior Breed but changed the name for Soilwork in 1996. The current line-up composes of Björn "Speed" Strid – vocals, Peter Wichers – guitar, Sven Karlsson – keyboards, Ola Flink – bass guitar, Dirk Verbeuren – drums and Sylvain Coudret – guitar. The band is currently signed to Nuclear Blast Records. The band’s breakthrough is associated with their third album A Predator's Portrait. The band became one of the most popular one along with their famous colleagues In Flames. The band played at Wacken Open Air festival that year and after receiving such success, they went on to record new album. The band carried on their success and shared the stage with Children of Bodom, As I Lay Dying, Bleeding Through, Chimaira and others.
