Slick Rick

Richard Walters, better known under his stage names Slick Rick, MC Ricky D and Rick the Ruler is a British-American rapper born on January 14 1965 in London, England. He and his family moved to the Bronx in 1975. When he was an infant, he had an injure that blinded his right eye. Walters rose to fame during the 80s when he released quite many hits. His debut album The Great Adventures of Slick Rick was released in 1988. The album reached number one on the R&B/Hip-hop albums chart and received Platinum certification. The hit singles were "Teenage Love", "Children's Story" and "Hey Young World". Later he was imprisoned for shooting in a bystander and his cousin and was released in 1999. Albums Ruler’s back and Behind Bars were released while he was still in jail. The last album The Art of Storytelling came out in 1999. You can download Slick Rick’s last album in mp3 from our site.
