Slaughterhouse

Slaughterhouse is an American super hip hop group formed in 2008 by rappers Crooked I, Joe Budden, Joell Ortiz and Royce da 5'9". The great four met for the first time recording the song “Slaughterhouse” for Joe Budden’s album Halfway House. Since then they are together having released the debut album Slaughterhouse. The band is controversial due to the past of its members, anyway they have a strong following over the internet and are notable for their lyrical abilities. Crooked I was signed to Virgin Records but his debut album still hasn’t been released. Joe Budden was signed to Def Jam and released a debut album but had to left the label after Jay-Z became its head. Joel Ortiz was signed to Aftermath but left the label as it was said that his album wouldn’t be released until Eminem’s one and Dr. Dre’s album. Royce da 5’9” is known for a feud with Eminem and Dr. Dre.
