Slade

Slade is an English rock group coming from Walsall and Wolverhampton, West Midlands, England and formed in 1966. The band was formed by drummer Don Powell, bass guitarist Jim Lea, lead guitarist Dave Hill and by lead vocalist Noddy Holder. The current lineup of the band consists of Dave Hill – guitars, vocals, Don Powell - drums, John Berry – bass guitar, vocals, violin, and of Mal McNulty – vocals, guitars. The band rose to fame in 1972 releasing their third album Slayed? Which broke up the charts and reached the top spot of the UK album chart and did the same in Australia. Their next album Old, New, Borrowed and Blue (released in America as "Stomp Your Hands, Clap Your Feet") repeated the success in Great Britain. None of their next albums could achieve such popularity. You can download these famous albums by Slade in mp3 from our site.
