Skindred

Welsh rock band Skindred comes from Newport, Wales, the UK. The band was founded in 1998 by Benji Webbe after his previous band has disbanded. The current band’s line-up composes of Benji Webbe – vocals, electronics, Mikey Demus – guitar, Dan Pugsley – bass and Arya Goggin – drums. The band call their style as “raga metal”. Their music is a mixture of alternative rock, heavy metal, punk rock and reggae. The band is sometimes compared to Bad Brains, however, Webbe denies any similarities. The band has released three studio albums, seven singles and five music videos. The band’s last album is Shark Bites and Dog Fights released in 2009.
