Sinister

Sinister is a Dutch death metal band formed in Rotterdam, Netherlands in 1988. The current band’s line-up composes of Adrie Kloosterwaard (vocals, drums), Alex Paul (guitar, bas), Bas van den Bogaard (bass) and of Edwin van den Eeden (drums). The band signed a deal with Nuclear Blast records in 1990 and released their debut album Cross the Styx in two years. The band has released more eight albums. During its history the group underwent the break up and reformation. In 2004 the band officially announced about their split but already in a year the band’s leader Kloosterwaard decided to return his band on the death meal scene. After the reunion the band went to the German studio Stage One Studios where they began to record their album “Afterburner”. The album was released in 2006.
