Simian

English electronic rock and indie pop music band Simian from Manchester, was active from 2000 to 2005. The band's line-up comprised Simon William Lord (vocals, lead guitar), James Ellis Ford (drums), Alex MacNaghten (bass) and James Anthony Shaw (keyboard). They met each other during their education at Manchester University. The started their career with appearances at local clubs and bars. In 2000, they signed a contract with record label. They emerged on the British rock scene on 2001 with their breakthrough debut album, Chemistry Is What We Are, which produced several hit singles such as "Watch It Glow", "The Wisp" and "One Dimension". Now, you may download this album by Simian in mp3 from our site. A year later, they released their following record, We Are Your Friend, which contained their best known hit entitled "La Breeze". This single reached number 55 in the UK.
