Silencers

Scottish rock and pop rock band Silencers was founded in 1987. The band's members are Jimmie O'Neill, Stevie Kane, Professor Stephen Greer, Aura O'Neill, Phil Kane, Milla and Baptiste Brondy. Their music style is characterized by the combination of pop, folk and traditional Celtic sounds. They rose to fame in the late 1980s with their breakthrough debut album, A Letter From St. Paul, which produced several singles such as "Painted Moon", "I Can't Cry", "Bullet And Blue Eyes" and "God's Gift". Several years later, they released their most commercially successful album, Dance to the Holy Man, which reached number 39 in the UK. The album's singles were "Singing Ginger", "Robinson Crusoe in New York", "Bulletproof Heart", "The Art of Self Deception" and "I Want You".
