American Christian metalcore and southern metal band The Showdown from Elizabethton, Tennessee, was formed in 2004. The band comprises David Bunton, Josh Childers, Timothy "Yogi" Watts and Jeremiah Scott. Their debut album, A Chorus of Obliteration, was released in 2004. Every song on the album was based on a story in the Bible. The album also was mainly a mix of Hardcore and Metal. In 2008, they are signed to Solid State Records. The band's latest album, Back Breaker, was released in 2008. It became their first album with Solid State Records. And now, you may download this album by The Showdown in mp3 from our site. Back Breaker produced eleven tracks including the singles, "Achilles The Backbreaker", "Prometheus The Fires Of Deliverance", "Aries I Am Vengeance" and "Hephaestus The Hammer Of The Gods". In 2008, the band also toured with Norma Jean on The Anti-Mother Tour. The tour featured Haste The Day, Mychildren Mybride, Children 18:3, and Oh, Sleeper.
