Sex Pistols are an English punk rock band formed in London, England in 1975. The band’s active period was lasting not too much, only two years, but during that time, they created a punk culture and became pioneers of punk movement in the UK. The band gave also inspiration for many other bands including The Clash, Siouxsie & the Banshees, Nirvana, Guns ‘N’Roses, Green Day and Oasis to name a few. The band became active again in 2007. The band’s line-up hasn’t changed from the original one. It consists of John Lydon (lead vocals), Steve Jones (guitar, backing vocals), Paul Cook (drums) and of Glen Matlock (bass, backing vocals). The band is famous for comprising Sid Vicious during a short period, a remarkable figure in punk culture. The band has released only one studio album Never Mind the Bollocks, Here's the Sex Pistols.
