The Seeds is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles, California, US in 1965 and dissolved in 2009 due to the death of the only original member Sky Saxon. The group was called American Rolling Stones due to the great influence of Mick Jagger on Saxon. The band is known mostly for their hit Pushin’ Too Hard. It was The Seeds only one Top 40 national hit, which you can download from our site in mp3. Some other their songs are Can't Seem To Make You Mine, A Thousand Shadows. In 1970 the band split and Saxon joined Yahowha. But in 1989 he reformed The Seeds and headlined The Summer of Love Tour with other bands like Big Brother and the Holding Company, Arthur Lee and Love, The Music Machine and The Strawberry Alarm Clock. The Seeds were on hold till 2003 and then they organized a tour around Europe and the US.
