Saul Williams

American hip hop, Spoken word, poetry, electronic and industrial hip hop singer, musician and actor Saul Williams was born on February 29, 1972. He rose to fame in the mid-1990 when he won Nuyorican Poets Cafe's Grand Slam Champion. In 2000, he released his debut album, Penny For A Thought/Purple Pigeons, which was praised by critics. The following year, he released his second album, Amethyst Rock Star, which produced several singles such as "Tao of Now" (featuring Esthero), "Fearless", "La La La", "Penny for a Thought" and "Coded Language". Now, you may download this album by Amethyst Rock Star, in mp3 from our site. Amethyst Rock Star also brought him a contract with Synchronic record label. In 2004, he released his self-titled album, which yielded the singles, "Talk to Strangers" (featuring Serj Tankian on piano), "Black Stacey" (featuring Isaiah "Ikey" Owens on piano organ), "Surrender (A Second to Think)" and "Control Freak".
