Sara Bareilles

Sara Beth Bareilles was born on December 7, 1979 in Eureka, California, the United States. She is an American singer-songwriter and musician. She began her music career in 2003 releasing two independent live albums – The First One and The Summer Sessions. Next year she released her debut studio album Careful Confessions. In 2005, she signed a deal with Epic Records. The album was unnoticed by the major part of the audience. The contract with major label helped her to promote herself and she opened for Maroon 5, Paolo Nutini and James Blunt. She released her second studio album Little Voice in 2007. The album has become a breakthrough to the mainstream success. It reached Gold certification and became number 7 on the Billboard 200.
