Sammie Lee Bush Jr. known under his professional name Sammie was born on March 1, 1987 in Boynton Beach, Florida, United States. He’s an American R & B, soul singer and actor. Sammie released his debut album From the Bottom to the Top at the age of 13 in 2000. The album spawned such singles like “I Like It” and “Crazy Things I Do”. The album was certified Gold by RIAA. After this release Sammie took hiatus in his music career in order to finish a school. He returned in 2006 with his second album Sammie which was produced by Dallas Austin, Jazze Pha, and Bryan-Michael Cox. The single “You Should Be My Girl” entered the charts and became a Top 30 R & B hit. The album hit the Top 45 Billboard Hot 200 albums chart.
