RuPaul Andre Charles, better known under his stage name RuPaul is an American singer-songwriter, model, drag queen and actor, born on November 17, 1960 in San Diego, California, the United States. He rose to fame at the beginning of the 1990s when he began appearing on the various television shows. At the same time, he began his singing career and recorded several albums. The most notable album at the beginning of his career was Supermodel of the World (1993). The album spawned a hit single “Supermodel (You Better Work)”.
