Roses Are Red

Roses are Red was an alternative rock band from Rochester, New York, the United States. The band was formed in 2002 out of the remains of some other bands around Western New York area. The original band’s line-up composed of Vincent Minervino on vocals, Brian and Matthew Gordner on guitars, Kevin Mahoney on bass, and Michael Lasaponara on drums. The band quickly recorded their debut demo and went on tour. Absolutepunk.net noticed the band and soon record labels showed an interest as well. The band singed to Trustkill Records in 2004. The band featured Warped Tour 2004 and released their album Conversations. The band embarked on tour supporting the album. During that time they opened for The Plain White T's, Underoath, Silverstein, Matchbook Romance, Chiodos, and others. The last band’s album What Became of Me was released in 2006.
