Robert Johnson

Robert Leroy Johnson was born on May 8, 1911 in Hazlehurst, Mississippi, USA. But there are several different birth dates of this mysterious bluesman, guitar player and singer of thirties, as there are many theories about his death. His creativity had a fundamental influence on the genre of blues in the first decades of its existence, and his music continues to be influential nowadays. A lot of musicians, such as Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Patti Smith and plenty of others have recorded tribute songs of this talented by the Devil (as the legend of his life says) blues singer. Among these songs there are “Kind-hearted Woman”, “Ramblin' On My Mind”, “Crossroad Blues”. In 1980 his name was inducted in the Blues Foundation Hall of Fame, in 1986 - in Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. During his short life he didn’t record any album.
