American rapper, record producer and actor Redman (birth name Reginald "Reggie" Nobl) was born on April 17, 1970, in Newark, New Jersey, United States. He quickly gained popularity in 1992 with his breakthrough debut album, Whut? Thee Album, which peaked at number 49 on the Billboard 200.
