Real McCoy

Real McCoy are a German eurodance, hi-NRG, rap and house band formed in Berlin, Germany in 1989. The band members are Olaf Jeglitza, Debbie Butts and Gemma Sampson. The band was produced by Frank Hassas, Juergen wind and Olaf Jeglitza. The first major breakthrough happened when their Techtronic cover for "Pump Up The Jam" hit the German chart and peaked at number 16. The next single “It’s on You” charted in Germany (number 11), Switzerland and France (number 8) and in Austria it was number 4. The next break happened in 1993 when the band’s single “Another Night” became a smashing world hit, reaching number 2 on the UK singles chart and number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100.
