The Ramones were an American punk rock band formed in Forest Hills, Queens, New York City in 1974. The band is considered to be the first punk band and one of the most influential alternative bands ever. It has been included in different lists of all-time great rock music and the Spin magazine called them the best rock band ever only after the Beatles. Three founding members and drummers Marky and Tommy Ramone were inducted in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The band released 14 studio albums, some of them are Rocket to Russia, Road to Ruin, Pleasant Dreams, Too Tough to Die, Brain Drain, Acid Eaters and others. Some of their famous songs are Blitzkrieg Bop, California Sun, Sheena is a Punk Rocker, Needles and Pins, somebody Put Something in my Drink, and many others.
