Protest The Hero

Protest the Hero is a Canadian band. It was formed in 1999 in Whitby, Ontario. Protest the Hero's musical genre is a mix of progressive metal and mathcore. The band was formed by Rody Walker, Tim Millar, Luke Hoskin, Arif Mirabdolbaghi and Moe Carlson. At that time, founding members were 14 years old. The first name of band is "Happy go Lucky". This name was changed before the release of their first EP, A Calculated Use of Sound. In 2006, Protest the Hero signed a contract with Vagrant Records. The first album (Kezia) was released in the US in 2006. This album has a very dramatical plot. It tells us about the characters of several people: a woman (she should be shot), the priest (he directs this process) and the prison guard (he has to kill a woman).
